Cisca Stellhorn
Rotary District 5320 Governor Visit
Cisca Stellhorn became a Rotarian in 1991 with the Rotary Club of Irvine.  During her time in Rotary, she has participated in over 29 International Service projects, including leading the Dental and Eye Clinics in Mexico.
She has held numerous positions in her club.
“I have found that being Secretary gave me the best insight into the workings of my club. It prepared me the best for being President”, said Cisca.

In addition, the District has allowed her to grow in Rotary by allowing her to head up the District Conference, Chair Club Service, serve as Rotary Days Gala Chair, Advisory Board member, and Finance Committee member.
Her favorite role has been Chair of the Peace Fellowship Subcommittee.
“Applicants for the Peace Fellowship are such amazing individuals. They give me a glimpse into the life of such remarkable people who want to solve impossible problems. All of them want to do good in the world,” said Stellhorn.  “As a Rotarian I have learned about the struggles of humanity.”

Stellhorn is a Certified Family Law Specialist, Lawyer and Mediator, still working full-time.  She deals with Responsibility and Closure.
“As a Mediator we learn better ways to communicate, work to find ways to find balance and preserve relationships,” said Stellhorn.
As a District Governor she hopes to be a resource, facilitator, educator and cheerleader for Rotary Clubs.
“I hope to bring all of my talents to the table to make my year as Governor meaningful for all,” said Stellhorn. “I love Rotary and am looking forward to my year of service as the Governor for District 5320.”

Cisca is the youngest of five and a twin.  She was born in Santa Cruz and has lived in Orange County since age three.  She grew up riding horses and swimming.  She paid her way through College and Law School teaching swimming.
